Where Are You Located?
Residential Renovators Corporate Headquarters is in Washington, DC.
How Long Have You Been in Business?
Residential Renovators has been in business since 2001. Our president, Bob Nunes has been remodeling homes in the DC area for more than 20 years.
Are You Licensed, Bonded and Insured?
We are licensed in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. Residential Renovators is fully insured and bonded.
Do You Provide a Warranty?
Residential Renovators provides a 1-Year Warranty on all work performed by us. You will also receive various manufacturers’ warranties (which may or may not last longer) on the products used on your job. In all instances, the manufacturer’s warranty prevails.
Do You Do Insurance Work?
Residential Renovators will review each job on a case by case basis.
How Much Do Estimates Cost?
Initial consultation estimates (I think this just leads to potential issues) will be provided for free – with some exceptions (see below). Design/ build estimates will have a fee associated with them.
Can You Provide an Estimate on a House That I Do Not Yet Own, But Am Considering Purchasing?
Residential Renovators will estimate a job on a home that you are considering or have under contract, but there will be a fee associated with this type of estimate. We have two types of estimates that can be performed. One estimate is a 1 hour walk through, which costs $150.00. The second type is a walkthrough with a follow up cost analysis document. The cost for this service is $350.00. See our Services Agreement Document
I Rent My House, Will You Work On It?
Residential Renovators will work on rented homes, but all contracted work must be contracted with the homeowner, and the homeowner must be present for the free consultation. If you need small "time & materials" jobs done, Residential Renovators will perform the work at an hourly rate and payment is due upon completion of the job.
Do You Accept Credit Cards?
Residential Renovators accepts personal checks, VISA, and MasterCard. We have a Credit Card Authorization Form that can be completed to authorize credit card transactions.
